It is said that because the Iranians are muslims and share customs with the Arabs are Arabs, but it is a total error; Persians are not Arabs at all, the fact that two ethnic groups are neighbours and share customs do not mean they are brothers or have a common origin. There are ethnic-Arab Iranians, but they are a minority and the rest are not at all. Language Persian is an Indo-European language that originates in common with almost all European languages and with many of India while Arabic is an Afro-Asian language specifically Semitic that has its origin in common with the languages of the Middle East and North Africa. An example about they are different languages are the numbers from one to ten in both languages: Persian:   yek, do, se, cahâr, panj, šeš, haft, hašt, noh, dah .
